The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will train and certify you to provide free tax help for low-to-moderate income families in need of tax preparation assistance. Don’t know much about taxes? Don’t worry—we walk you through a comprehensive & straightforward training – but the software does all of the heavy lifting. So, if you can use a computer, you can help local families by preparing taxes. We encourage all volunteers to train in at least Basic tax preparation, however those who are not comfortable with tax preparation after the trainings can still volunteer as a Greeter or InterpreterVITA Volunteer Sign Up Form >>
